You’re not alone. Thousands of people take the plunge every month. Some start a home based business to earn a second income, and others quit their day jobs to go out on their own.

No matter what the reason, there are lots of benefits to having a home based business. The commute is shorter, the dress code is more relaxed, and you’re in charge of your own destiny. There are plenty of other advantages, but those are the top three.

So what kind of home based business are you thinking about starting?  You might be surprised to find out that many people choose network marketing. That’s because network marketing is one of the very few opportunities that give you the ability to build compound income.

Most home based businesses are based upon owner output. That means that you can never earn more money than that which is tied to your output. If you run a home based service business where you charge by the hour, you can never bill more than the number of hours you can realistically work in a given period.

I’m sure you already know you can’t work 24 hours a day, but a lot of home based business operators discover that they can’t even bill 40 hours per week. That’s because besides performing your service, you have to take care of paperwork, accounting, customer service, advertising, marketing and more. Most hourly business never bill more than 25% of the time that they actually spend working.

A home based network marketing business enables you to make money 24/7 even while you’re sleeping. There are hundreds of network marketing companies available, each with a different compensation plan. The one thing they have in common is that you work once and get paid over and over again!

Could Network Marketing be Your Debt Solution?

Owe more money than you can possible repay? Welcome to the world of upside down finances where millions of people just like you are searching for some debt solution.

Forget borrowing money. What kind of debt solution is that? All you are doing is swapping one creditor for another. Even if it looks like you are lowering your payment, you really haven’t come up with a debt solution.

The only real debt solution is to increase your income. Here are some options:

1. Work more hours at your normal job. But how much overtime can you realistically earn each year, and what do you have left after the bigger tax bite?

2. Get a big fat raise. Yeah, good luck with that. It’s a tight employment market and employers are looking for ways to cut salaries, not increase them.

3. Find a new job that pays better. That’s easier said then done.

4. Get a second job. If that’s what you are thinking about to help you with find a debt solution, you’re on the right track.

Getting a second job will increase your income, and that income could be used as a debt solution, but how much extra money can that job really bring in? The chances are that a normal second job isn’t going to bring in that much, but what about choosing network marketing instead?

Network marketing is a great way to build a second income and it’s a great debt solution. You earn commissions on the products and services you sell, plus you earn commissions on the products and services that the people under you sell. Before you know it you can have a serious debt solution working for you. Give it a try. It’s better than another job!

You’re already doing network marketing, why not get paid for it?

As a network marketer, I never pass up the opportunity to explain to people that they are doing the same thing as I am, they’re just doing it for free. That’s because network marketing is really the act of recommending specific products or services to other people that you know or encounter. Think I’m kidding? Here’s a true story that illustrates my point.

We had a house full of relatives this past Thanksgiving. I was chatting with my cousin about how much time I spent cleaning the showers before the guests arrived. She said “I never scrub my showers, I use .” She then went on to tell me how great the product is and how I should buy a bottle and try it. I did, it’s great, and now I tell everyone about it whenever I get the chance.

And that’s how simple network marketing really is. The manufacturer of that cleaning product is probably going to sell thousands of bottles this year as the people I know tell the people they know, who tell the people they know, and so on. The sad part is none of us are going to make any money because of this.

Now imagine if you were part of a network marketing organization that sold this amazing product. Imagine that every time you recommended it to someone who purchased it you would get paid. And also imagine that you’d get paid whenever those people recommended it to others, and on and on.

It doesn’t take too many people talking about your great product for you to start earning a sizable network marketing income.  And that’s what network marketing is all about. Getting paid for doing something that you’re already doing anyway.
